Blue Tea And Unstop Get Sharks Amazed By Their Valuation!!

Sharks were shocked to see these newly established companies with huge evaluation pitches.

Three entrepreneurs this week pitched their innovative ideas on Shark Tank India season 2 and pitched for an amazing valuation that not only shocked the viewers but also the sharks. Blue Tea and Unstop made their greatest pitches from sharks.

Gavin Paris

Two entrepreneurs came up with an apparel brand Gavin Paris. They introduced their brands as oversized shirts, T-shirts, Polo shirts, etc. They pitched for the oversized trend on the show that has given them a lot of markets to reach youngsters. They asked for Rs. 50 lakhs for 5% equity. Sharks asked them for the equity split which shocked them. The split was 100% with the Kishore and only if things worked he would give 10% to Ashutosh. The sharks felt that he was using the young man and Vineeta only offered them a deal if he gives 45% of the company to Ashutosh. They declined the offer and walked with no deal.

Blue Tea

This might come as a bizarre thing but yes, Blue tea does exist. Two entrepreneurs came to the show and offered a pitch of Rs. 75 lakhs for 1% equity. They introduced this tea as an alternative to green tea. Sharks were impressed by their product. But Anupam was a little skeptical as the one co-founder was overtly exaggerating things to impress them which made him leave the pitch. They stated that they have a 4.3/5 rating and their tea has more anti-oxidents than a normal green tea and no bitterness. Aman offered them a pitch for Rs. 50 lakhs for 3% equity and Rs. 25 lakhs debts at 12% interest. They did counter him but Aman refused and they took the deal.

He asked the sharks for Rs. 1 crore against 1% equity. He also impressed the sharks that young minds and their brands have also collaborated with them for freshers. Except for Namita, all four sharks pitched in the idea that is Aman, Namita, Anupam, and Amit for Rs. 2 crores against 4% equity, which is agreed upon and the case is closed.
