Mere Sai: Shraddha Aur Saburi on Sony Entertainment Television has always strived to educate viewers on important social issues. Esteemed actor Govind Khatri, who portrays the role of Kakasaheb Dixit, a lawyer and Sai Baba’s biggest disciple, is the show’s newest addition to the cast and is seen sharing the screen with the show’s lead, Tushar Dalvi, in the current track of the show.
While Govind’s character, Kakasaheb, is a well-known lawyer who works for the Government and is unaware of Sai Baba’s teachings, he is also dealing with a number of personal issues. During his visit to Shirdi, Kakasaheb Dixit becomes an immense follower of Sai as soon as he gets to know about his divine nature and starts following Sai Baba’s path.
Sharing his thoughts on how the viewers can learn to do the right thing always, Govind Khatri says, “Through this track, I learnt that doing the right thing brings people closer to you. It even applies to the ones who hold vices against you. Once you start applying it in your life, you automatically keep negative thoughts at bay.”
He further added that “I feel that one must do what is right, even if the majority of individuals fail to do so. It is fine to be inspired by the majority of people, but it is not okay to make poor decisions while under their influence.”
The current track concentrates on how Sai Baba influences Kakasaheb from the moment he sees him for the first time, eventually attracting Kakasaheb to his faith through his divinity, which also helps Kakasaheb resolve his own problems.
