Inspired by a true incident from Kodaikanal in 2006, it premiered on February 22. Directed by Chidambaram, the recently released Malayalam drama-mystery, “Manjummel Boys” has been grabbing a lot of attention lately. ‘Manjummel Boys’ OTT Platform & Release Date
As per the latest reports, the OTT rights of the film have reportedly been sold to a leading digital platform. According to a report on Filmibeat, the Malayalam survival thriller will be released on OTT giant, Disney+ Hotstar. However, an official confirmation of the same is awaited.
Meanwhile, talking about the OTT release date of the film is yet to be announced. The 8-week theatre window is the standard theatrical-to-digital window that typically spans around 8 weeks. This means the film will most probably be released on the OTT platform by April or May.

Based on true events at a tourist destination in Kodaikanal, ‘Manjummel Boys’ has drawn inspiration from this backdrop. The film depicts the ordeal of a young member of a friend group who falls into the Guna caves and becomes trapped, while the others scramble to save him against diminishing hope.
