Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, the much-anticipated Malayalam film, Malaikottai Vaaliban starring Mohanlal, was released in theatres on 25th January. Unfortunately, the film received mixed responses from critics and moviegoers and received a lukewarm response at the box office as well. As per the latest reports, after less than a month of the theatrical release, the Malayalam film is all set to release on the digital platform.
Malaikottai Vaaliban OTT Release
Mohanlal starrer Malayalam film, Malaikottai Vaaliban will be released on OTT platform, Disney+Hotstar on 23 February. Sharing the announcement the OTT platform wrote on their official Instagram handle, “An epic tale of a warrior overcoming every challenge thrown his way – Malaikottai Vaaliban streaming from 23rd Feb in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.”
Malaikottai Vaaliban Lifetime Box Office Collection
Starring South actor Mohanlal, the Malayalam action-thriller film, Malaikottai Vaaliban secured a decent opening at the box office and earned ₹ 5.65 Cr on its first day. The domestic collection of the film currently stands at 14.57 Cr, meanwhile the worldwide box office collection of the film stands at 29.40 Crore.
