Here’s Why Alia Bhatt Didn’t Appear With Ranbir & Neetu Kapoor On Kapil Sharma’s Show

Ranbir Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor appeared as guests on Kapil Sharma's new Netflix show, "The Great Indian Kapil Show." However, Alia Bhatt was notably absent from the episode.

Netflix’s “The Great Indian Kapil Show” has kicked off with its first episode featuring the Kapoors: Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Kapil Sharma returns with his original cast, including some familiar and fresh faces. Sunil Grover reunites with Kapil for the show. However, despite the anticipation, fans questioned why Alia Bhatt was absent from the episode.

According to a TimesNow report, the initial intention of the makers was to invite the entire Kapoor family, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Allegedly, Kapil Sharma and the cast were willing to adjust their schedule to accommodate Alia Bhatt’s availability for a smooth shoot.

However, the report suggests that Alia Bhatt was unwilling to participate. Additionally, a close friend of the Kapoor family mentioned in the report that Netflix might not have been able to afford Alia Bhatt.

The report suggests that a significant budget is allocated each week for guests on The Great Indian Kapil Show. However, it was purportedly “insufficient” to afford both Alia and Ranbir, according to TimesNow.

This is cited as the reason for Alia Bhatt’s alleged absence from the show featuring Ranbir, Neetu, and Riddhima. Additionally, unlike previous appearances made by stars to promote their movies for free, this time they will reportedly receive payment for their episodes.
