A while ago Kourtney Kardashian decided to quit her own family-drama series Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Kourtney’s decision took her sisters and the fans by surprise, however now she feels that she has been set free. Kris Jenner’s oldest daughter Kourtney revealed the reason behind finally deciding to step back from the show after 13 long years. Speaking about the same to a magazine, Kourtney confessed that the toxic environment got to her.
Revealing the reason Kourtney said, “I have been filming the show non-stop for 13 years, 19 seasons and six spin-off seasons. I was feeling unfulfilled and it became a toxic environment for me to continue to have it occupy as much of my life as it was.” The 41-year old model further added that she has now decided to choose what she puts out in the world.
Kourtney revealed, “I have decided to take a big step back from filming and really just pick and choose what I will allow cameras to follow. I think just now when I have something that I find is interesting to film, or that I would feel excited to film, that I do that.”
On the recent cover of Vogue Arabia magazine, Kourtney even wrote, “The power of reclaiming yourself. Kourtney Kardashian sets free.”
Well, we hope that Kourtney finds something outside of the show to keep herself busy and happy at the same time.

On the side note, Kourtney Kardashian recently has been hitting the headlines because of her patch-up rumours with former partner Scott Disick. The former couple has three children together whom they co-parent merrily.

Post their breakup, Scott started dating Sofia Richie, and the couple decided to part the ways earlier this year. Since then, Scott has been trying to woo Kourtney and rekindle their fizzled out romance.
