Many Bollywood celebs have stepped forward to do their part in helping these daily wage workers in some way or another. Meanwhile, actress Katrina Kaif has also extended help to Bollywood background dancers. She has provided financial aid to 100 Bollywood background dancers by directly transferring money directly into their accounts.
The Tiger Zinda Hai actress is also pleased to know that there quite dancers who are using the money transfer by her to enable themselves to stand back on their feet and to sustain themselves until the industry starts to work in full swing.
The reports suggest that some of the dancers are utilizing the monetary help as the principle amount to start small business like selling vegetables, snacks and egg counters by the roadside, and to provide tiffin service.

Raj Surani of the Octopus Entertainment who has been the spine to the dancers during the tough times said that he is grateful to Katrina Kaif for her noble deed. He said, “The dancers have utilized the money transferred by Katrina to start small businesses like tiffin services, beauty services, and selling homemade chocolates.”
A senior background dancer Hetal said that she travels all the way to the APMC market at 3 in the morning to buy vegetables and sell it online to societies.
Surani revealed that these dancers are sharing their survival stories on the WhatsApp group and motivating each other to get back on their feet. The inspiration is contagious when these dancers hear that their fellow dancers have started some small business to become self-reliant, they also are doing something to fill in the financial gap in their life.
Katrina Kaif has surely set an example for others to follow and has proved that she is not only a fine actress but also a kind-hearted human being.
Apart from Katrina Kaif, Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff had also extended their help to help the Bollywood dancers amid the coronavirus pandemic.
