However, Zendaya took to an Instagram story, which has since expired, to clarify the situation, stating that the rumours had left her feeling restricted in her social media posts.
In the story, she humorously addressed the engagement rumours, saying, “I posted it for my hat. Not for the ring on my right finger, you guys,” followed by a laugh. She further emphasized, “Seriously, you think that’s how I would drop the news? What?”
Zendaya and Tom Holland, both 27 years old, first made headlines when they were spotted sharing a kiss in public back in July 2021. Since then, the couple, affectionately known as “Tomdaya” by fans, has been seen together at various high-profile events, including red carpet appearances, basketball games, and most recently, Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour.
