When Brad Pitt Got Into A Feud With “The Legends Of The Fall” Director…

After the first table read, Brad felt uncomfortable, and thus he decided to quit "The Legend of The Fall".

“Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” star Brad Pitt has worked in more than 100 films and many of those were blockbusters, like The Lost City, Bullet Train, World War Z, Mr & Mts Smith, Moneyball, The Mexican and many others. But there came a point in his professional life when he almost took a back turn and said no to this one movie. He even had some feud with the director of the film. Do you know about that film?

Edward Zwick and Brad Pitt’s collaboration, a movie based on Jim Harrison’s 1979 novel. Yes, you guessed it right. We are talking about the movie “Legends of the Fall.” Director Edward Zwick shared an anecdote about when he had a fight with actor Brad Pitt and how he decided to leave the film after first table reading. As per the report obtained by Vanity Fair, the director and the star also indulged in physical fights.

Edward said, “I kept pushing, and Brad pushed back. One afternoon, I started giving him direction out loud in front of the crew—a stupid, shaming provocation—and Brad came back at me, also out loud, telling me to back off. Brad wasn’t about to give in without a fight.” But for Brad, whatever the director was telling him was either wrong or too emotional than the character’s needs.

He later continued, saying, “I don’t know who yelled first, who swore, or who threw the first chair. Me, maybe? But when we looked up, the crew had disappeared. And this wasn’t the last time it happened. Eventually, the crew grew accustomed to our dustups and would walk away and let us have it out.”

After the first table read, Brad felt uncomfortable, and thus he decided to quit, but the co-producer, Marshall Herskovitz, somehow managed to convince him. Later, Brad received a Golden Globe Best Actor nomination for this movie.
