American Popstar Taylor Swift has always been vocal about her political ideology. As Super Tuesday is making extreme buzz in The United States, Taylor has urged her fans & followers to cast their vote for choosing their candidate (nominations) in the upcoming United States Presidential Elections 2024.
Promoting the same, Swift posted an informative political awareness note on her Instagram Story. “Today, March 5, is the Presidential Primary in Tennessee and 16 other states and territories.” She added, “I wanted to remind you guys to vote the people who most represent YOU into power. If you haven’t already, make a plan to vote today. Whether you’re in Tennessee or somewhere else in the US, check your polling places and times at vote.org.”
For the unversed, Taylor Swift was also actively aware about politics during the 2020 U.S Presidential Elections, where she was known to bat for the Current U.S President Joe Biden.
Back in then, Taylor quoted, “The change we need most is to elect a president who recognizes that people of colour deserve to feel safe and represented, that women deserve the right to choose what happens to their bodies, and that the LGBTQIA+ community deserves to be acknowledged and included.”
“Everyone deserves a government that takes global health risks seriously and puts the lives of its people first. The only way we can begin to make things better is to choose leaders who are willing to face these issues and find ways to work through them,” the singer added.
However, Swift has not taken a clear stand for any political candidate this year. As per reports, Joe Biden & Donald Trump will probably run again for the president’s seat.
