While some reports stated that Gerard is all set to marry Clara Chia Marti, on the other hand, Shakira is developing her love affairs with Lewis Hamilton. Despite all this, the singer, who was allegedly devastated by the breakup, took another jab at the former player in her new song preview.
For the unversed, Shakira and Gerard split after 11 years of being in a relationship. She decided to break up with him after she returned from her tour and found a half-empty strawberry jam bottle in her house. The singer realised Pique was cheating on her. Because neither Gerrard nor her children loved to eat strawberry jam, she learned that someone had stayed at her house when she was away.
Even though their separation is almost a year old, Shakira is still upset with Gerard, who cheated on her for Clara Chia and is going to marry her. In her new song, the Waka Waka singer takes another dig at Pique.
Shakira took to her Instagram handle and shared a preview of her new song, Empty Cup, along with a video of herself surfing across the ocean. The preview is subsequently a dig at her ex-boyfriend, Gerad Pique, as she sings, “You are always busy with so much business. It would be nice, my love, a little leisure. Relax here on the sofa and give me your attention. The phone rings. Use your hand with me. I know you’re hot, but I’m much hotter.”
