Selena Gomez Parties With New Pals Amid Fallout With Kidney Donor BFF Francia Raisa

The celebration comes after Selena Gomez's shocking fallout with her kidney donor best friend Francia Raisa spilt onto social media.

Selena Gomez seemingly has a great time while attending a pyjama party with Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz. Gomez, Nicola and Brooklyn celebrated the release of Selena’s new documentary, My Mind & Me. Gomez shared two TikToks from the fun celebration, featuring her friends and her nine-year-old baby sister Gracie Elliot Teefey.

Nicola also shared a series of photos from the fun night on her Instagram and revealed that her husband was the chef for the event. In the first photo, she and Selena were seen relaxing together on a couch underneath a cosy white fuzzy blanket. Alongside the photos, Nicola penned, ‘Girls night celebrating your beautiful documentary congratulations selena! (thanks b for the best food everrrrr).’

The celebration comes after Selena’s shock fallout with her kidney donor best friend Francia Raisa spilt onto social media earlier in the day. The Disney star was gravely ill with lupus when fellow actress Raisa offered to donate her kidney and they underwent the difficult transplant process in 2017.

Gomez detailed her health struggles in her recently released documentary, My Mind & Me, but gave no mention of Raisa and in a recent interview in Rolling Stone, Gomez named Taylor Swift as her only celebrity friend in the industry. Moreover, Gomez recently left an eyebrow-raising comment underneath a TikTok video that discussed how Raisa unfollowed her in the wake of being snubbed in the documentary. Selena wrote, “Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know.”

It comes after Francia wrote ‘interesting’ on an Instagram post by ENews that featured a quote from Selena discussing her friendship with Swift. “I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor,” the Only Murders in the Building star told Rolling Stone magazine this week. Francia has since deleted her comment and unfollowed Gomez. However, Gomez still follows her on Instagram.

Gomez also spoke about receiving a kidney to Rolling Stone, however, her quotes did not mention Raísa being her donor. The songstress also gave a candid look into her health battle in her documentary, at one point breaking down into tears as she struggled with her lupus symptoms worsening. Selena and Francia have been friends for over 10 years and have even referred to each other as ‘sisters’ in the past.
