Selena Gomez Opens Up On Her Breakup With Justin Bieber

Hollywood singer and actor Selena Gomez was seen opening up about her breakup with ex Justin Bieber in her documentary "My Mind & Me".

Selena Gomez and her longtime on-off boyfriend, Justin Bieber, ended their relationship in 2018. The singer and actor has often addressed her breakup with ex-boyfriend Justin Beiber on many occasions. On Friday a documentary named “My Mind & Me” ft. Selena was released on Apple TV in which the actress revealed her breakup with Justin, her bipolar disorder, and more.

Opening up about her split with Bieber, Selena said, “Everything was so public. I felt haunted by a past relationship that no one wanted to let go of. Then I just moved past it, and I wasn’t afraid anymore.”

She added,  “I feel like I had to go through the worst possible heartbreak ever and then just forget everything at the drop of the hand, it was really confusing. But I just think that needed to happen and ultimately it was the best thing that ever happened to me.”

In another segment, the singer broke down in tears during her 2016 revival tour, Selena questioned that if she can record label without Justin, mentioning John Janick she said, “I don’t know what John thinks, I want to talk to John. I don’t want to disappoint John. I don’t want him to think that he signed some f***ing Disney kid,” She added, “It just sucks too, because the whole song thing. He called me this morning about the song with Justin, like, when am I just going to be good enough by myself? When am I gonna be good just by myself, not needed anybody to be associated with?”

However, the breakup is not the only thing that happened to Selena. Just a year before her breakup, Selena was diagnosed with lupus and needed a kidney transplant in 2017. However, Selena revealed it was actually been really good for her as it was necessary for her to walk through those things.
