The actress recently took to her social media to share a new photo of her baby girl, Malti Marie, featuring something exciting for her longtime fans. The Quantico star shared a sweet snap of daughter Malti Marie, 7 months, wearing a onesie that reads ‘desi girl,’ a nickname Chopra Jonas has held throughout her Bollywood career.
For the unversed, Chopra Jonas earned the title after her 2008 Bollywood hit Dostana, which featured a song titled “Desi Girl.” Now, it looks like she’s ready to share her star status with her little girl. Nick Jonas tied the knot with Priyanka Chopra back in 2018. Meanwhile, the couple has been talking since 2016 when Nick reached out to the actress on Twitter. However, the two stars didn’t officially meet in person until a year later in 2017.
Chopra Jonas and her husband Nick Jonas welcomed their daughter via surrogate in January. Malti’s first 100-plus days were spent in the neonatal intensive care unit, but she was able to join her parents in their family home following her NICU stay. In a glimpse of Indian matchmaking, one of Sima Taparia’s clients was discussing about the ideal age difference between guys and girls when it comes to marriage. The client then mentioned how Priyanka Chopra was 11 years older than Nick. Sima cut her off and said, “But I don’t feel it’s a good match. Sorry to tell you that. They are just married but it’s not a good match. He looks so small and petite in front of her and she looks elder.” And Indian Matchmaking’s Sima aunty’s this comment created a stir on the Internet.
