Prince Harry and his wife Megan Markle stepped down from their royal duties earlier this year and have moved away to start a new life with their 11-month old son Archie. After cutting their ties with the Royal family, the couple moved to Canada to re-establish a new life. It is not too long ago that Prince Harry and Megan shifted to a huge mansion in Los Angeles.
As a part of their new life, the former Duchess of Sussex Megan Markle decided to make a comeback in Hollywood with Disney Plus’ movie Elephant. However, it seems like Prince Harry too is getting drawn to Hollywood movies. According to the sources, the former Duke of Sussex is all set to star in an upcoming Hollywood venture and it is not we are thinking of.
Prince Harry has bagged a TV gig where is all geared up to appear in Thomas And Friends. The episode is titled ‘The Royal Engine’. It is speculated that Harry’s appearance in the royal-themed episode will just be of a cameo. But it will be Prince Harry’s first entertainment project since he along with his family moved to the United States. The sources say that he has already recorded his contribution for the special episode.
As per the reports, Harry will be narrating the introduction for the 75th-anniversary episode of the children’s series. If we believe the hearsay, the episode will feature younger animated versions of his grandmother, the Queen, and his father Prince Charles.
In a statement, Harry said, “Thomas the Tank Engine has been a comforting, familiar face to so many families over the last 75 years — entertaining, educating, and inspiring children on important issues through exciting stories and characters. I certainly have fond memories of growing up with Thomas & Friends and being transported to new places through his adventures.”
Recalling the moments’ Harry said that he had a Thomas backpack which he carried with him on the first day of his nursery in 1987.
The Royal themed episode of Thomas And Friends will release on Netflix in the United States on May 1.
