PnB Rock Shot Dead During Robbery At Restaurant In L.A, Know About The Rapper

American rapper and singer, PnB Rock, best known for his single 'Selfish' shot dead at 30 during a robbery at a restaurant in L.A.

Rapper PnB Rock was recently killed in a robbery and shooting at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in South Los Angeles on Monday. PnB Rock, whose real name was Rakim Allen, was most known for his 2016 song, ‘Selfish.’ The shooting took place at the famed restaurant on Main Street and Manchester Avenue around 1 p.m, according to ET. The rapper was eating at Roscoe’s with his girlfriend before the attack, as revealed through his social media post.

Meanwhile, according to reports from the Los Angeles Times, Los Angles police Capt. Kelly Muniz said that the assailant brandished a firearm after entering Roscoe’s and demanded jewellery from PnB Rock. “He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot,” Muniz said as pet ET. Following the shooting, PnB Rock was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead just before 2:00 p.m.

For the unversed, Rakim Hasheem Allen was an American rapper and singer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was best known for his single Selfish (2016), which peaked at number 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100. He also provided uncredited vocals on XXXTentacion’s hit single Changes, which reached the top 20 on the same chart. He released two studio albums, Catch These Vibes (2017) and TrapStar Turnt PopStar (2019). Allen was chosen as part of the 2017 XXL Freshman Class.

His debut album TrapStar Turnt PopStar was released in May 2019.[19] PnB Rock was featured on Ed Sheeran’s “Cross Me”, which is a part of Sheeran’s album No.6 Collaborations Project, along with Chance the Rapper.[20]. Pnb Rock released a single featuring Pop Smoke titled “Backseat”

The rapper also collaborated with YFN Lucci on the 2017 track Everyday We Lit. In January 2020, PnB Rock released a track titled Ordinary featuring late rapper Pop Smoke and also went on to feature another late rapper in January 2021, King Von, in a song titled Rose Gold. In February 2022, PnB Rock released a new Mixtape SoundCloud Daze featuring various artists including Pasto Flocco, Yung Fazo and more. PnB Rock’s most recent work, Luv Me Again, was released earlier this month.
