Why Paris Hilton Prefers Keeping Her Children’s Arrival Under Wraps Until Birth

Hilton, married to Carter Reum since 2021, explained her decision to announce the birth post-delivery, aiming to keep this joyous moment private.

Paris Hilton, the new mom, welcomed her second child, London, via surrogacy. The reality star announced this joyful news on Thanksgiving through her Instagram. Alongside the announcement, the DJ and heiress revealed her daughter’s name, London.

Sharing a photo of a pink onesie with the inscription “London,” accompanied by heart-shaped sunglasses and a bunny, Hilton captioned it with, ”Thankful for my baby girl” along with a pink heart emoji.

Paris became a mother for the second time and chose to announce the news after the birth of both her children. When her son Phoenix was born, she shared his pictures. Unfortunately, the child faced criticism due to his larger head, leaving Paris devastated.

Earlier, she explained her reasoning for not making any announcements before the baby’s birth, saying, “I just feel like my life has been so public for over two decades now, and I just wanted something to be private between my husband and me, and to not have the whole world talking about my son before he was safely here on this planet,” as reported by the New York Post.

Married to Carter Reum in 2021, Paris now forms a family of four. Recently, she revealed on “Live with Kelly and Mark” that only her parents and younger sister, Nicky, were aware the couple were expecting another child, but they were unaware of the timing.

“It was before the turkey,” Hilton told the hosts.

“This was around 5 o’clock at night, and Carter got everyone in the living room,” she explained.

“He’s like, ‘Oh, I have a surprise.’ Everyone thought a magician was coming — like we have a performer coming in.”

“So everyone’s all excited like, ‘Okay?’ and then I walk in just holding, like, a pink blanket with the baby, and everybody is sitting there like, ‘What?’” Hilton recounted.
