Olivia Wilde And Jason Sudeikis Reach Agreement In Custody Battle

Starting Next Month, The Ex-Couple Will Share Joint Custody Of Their Children On A 'Week-On, Week-Off Basis

The legal battle between actor-filmmaker Olivia Wilde and actor Jason Sudeikis has reached its conclusion, as the former couple has agreed to joint custody of their two children, son Otis and daughter Daisy. According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Jason will provide $27,500 per month in child support. This decision comes after a reported estimated income of $10.5 million for Jason and approximately $500,000 for Olivia, as indicated in the court documents.

Starting next month, the ex-couple will share joint custody of their children on a ‘week-on, week-off basis,’ according to the Daily Mail. Jason Sudeikis, best known for leading the series “Ted Lasso,” has been directed to contribute $27,500 per month for child support, which includes $10,300 for Otis and $17,200 for Daisy.

Additionally, court papers reveal that Jason will be responsible for covering 25 percent of Olivia’s childcare expenses, in addition to the $27,500 monthly child support payment.

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis reportedly began dating in 2011 after meeting at a Saturday Night Live finale party. They got engaged the following year and welcomed their children, Otis in August 2014 and Daisy in October 2016. The couple officially parted ways in 2020.

While their separation initially appeared amicable, the co-parents made headlines in April 2022 when Jason served Olivia with legal documents regarding their children, a moment that occurred while she was on stage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

In August 2022, a source reported to People about their challenging custody battle, stating, “She (Olivia) and Jason don’t speak to each other, so they have help communicating about the custody schedule.”
