“Baywatch” star Nicole Eggert expressed her gratitude towards her fans for their steadfast support in her healing journey. Nicole, who once fired the screen during the 90s with her elegant, yet energetic presence on screen, revealed her severe health issue, and she went public with her cancer diagnosis.
The 50-year-old has been fighting with breast cancer and after her revelation she received immense support from all her co-actors and fans in the form of donations and well wishes. Her Baywatch co-actors David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson stood behind her. There is a page “GoFundMe” set up to help her financially with treatment, and she received thousands of dollars through those donations. One more, great thing is that donations have already crossed the original target of USD 25,000. She said that she really felt touched, and this encouragement would definitely make her journey a little bit easier. She can completely focus on her health recovery as financial aid won’t be a big task now.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Nicole shared how difficult it was for her to accept this illness. She had anxiety attacks many times. Her chemotherapy sessions are going on and she will hopefully undergo a lumpectomy. Emotional support is a significant and much-needed thing at such a time. But she mentioned that she has an amazing husband who is with her in her suffering.
After Nicole Eggert’s health revelation, many have been inspired to talk about their health battle publicly. She has given strength to all those who are battling with cancer and also contributed to creating awareness amongst people.
