Miley Cyrus Announces Her Eighth Studio Album ‘Endless Summer Vacation’

The first song from Endless Summer Vacation will be the new single 'Flowers', which Miley Cyrus announced on New Year's Eve.

Miley Cyrus recently delighted her fans with a new announcement. The singer announced her eighth studio album. Cyrus looked sensational as she slipped into a black cut-out swimsuit, flashing her toned abs and inked skin in the promotional photo. Miley is set to release her eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, on March 10th.

The star announced the album alongside a powerful trailer which she described in a press release as ‘a love letter to LA.’ The first song from Endless Summer Vacation will be the new single ‘Flowers’, which she announced on New Year’s Eve. It seems like Miley took a brutal swipe at her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth in her highly-anticipated new track, Flowers.

The two-time Grammy nominee announced she will be dropping her new single Flowers on January 13. Interestingly, January 13 will mark Liam Hemsworth’s 33rd birthday. However, Miley’s fans believed she was intentionally picking January 13 as her release date as some sort of ‘revenge’ on Liam. While the song is yet to be released, fans can hear a snippet of the upcoming song, which appears to take a dig at her ex-husband Liam in the lyrics.

For the unversed, Miley got engaged to Liam in May 2012, but they parted ways in September 2013, before reuniting in 2016. The couple married in December 2018, and their divorce was finalised in January 2020. Disney alum and the actor first fell in love in 2009 on the set of Julie Anne Robinson’s dismally-reviewed romantic drama The Last Song.

Since her divorce, Miley spark romances with The Hills: New Beginnings alum Kaitlyn Carter, Australian swimmer-singer Cody Simpson, and Lily drummer Maxx Morando. Moreover, Miley was previously linked with Stella Maxwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Avan Jogia, Adam Sevani, Justin Gaston, Thomas Sturges, and Nick Jonas. However, in March 2022, Miley branded her divorce from Liam ‘a f disaster’ when she helped a couple get engaged during her set at Lollapalooza Brazil.

Previously, Miley Cyrus teased the start of a new musical era. The latest music announcement comes two years after the release of her record, Plastic Hearts, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums. Meanwhile, her previous Instagram post hinted at an exciting project in the imminent future. The singer shared a video of a billboard with the same phrase on it. Alongside the video, Cyrus penned, ‘NEW YEAR, NEW MILEY.’
