Leandro De Niro Rodriguez Was Found Dead In His New York Apartment On July 2

Recently, Robert De Niro’s grandson, Leandro De Niro Rodriguez, tragically passed away due to drug-related causes. This shocking incident prompted an investigation, and in a major update, a drug dealer named Sofia Haley Marks has been arrested, as reported by the New York Post.

According to the report, Sofia was apprehended in a sting operation conducted by the NYPD, Drug Enforcement Administration, and Homeland Security. She has been charged with the distribution of narcotics.

On July 2, Robert De Niro’s grandson was discovered deceased in his New York City apartment. His absence was noticed by a friend who hadn’t heard from him in a few days and decided to check on him. It was during this visit that his lifeless body was found, with drugs nearby.

Initially, the cause of death was unknown. However, a few days later, Leandro’s mother took to her Instagram account and revealed that fentanyl-laced pills were responsible for her son’s tragic demise. She wrote, “Someone sold him [Leandro] fentanyl-laced pills that they knew were laced yet still sold them to him.” In her heartfelt message, she added, “So for all these people still f–king around selling and buying this s–t, my son is gone forever.” Her name is Drena.

The 19-year-old was an aspiring actor who made his Hollywood breakthrough in the 2018 film “A Star Is Born,” directed by Bradley Cooper. Leandro also had a role in the 2018 drama “Cabaret Maxime.”
