Here’s A Look At The Most Anticipated Hollywood Films Of 2022!

While the ongoing pandemic continues to take a toll on the global film industry, kudos to Hollywood that still continues to press on with its blockbusters in 2022.

1. Jurassic World: Dominion

In this third installment to the “Jurassic World” series, director Colin Trevorrow has set the premises of the film four years after the events of “Jurassic World: Fallen”, in which genetically engineered dinosaurs were auctioned to companies around the world. The story mainly revolves around a world where humans co-habitat and live with dinosaurs. All set to release in June 2022, the movie casts Chris Pratt, Bryce Howard, Laura Dern, etc with a whopping budget of $165 million.

2. Avatar 2

James Cameron, the director, has depicted in the movie how Jake Sully lives with his newfound family formed on the planet of Pandora. This highly anticipated series is all set to be released in December 2022, as the sequel is taking a long because of its long pre-production state.

3.Marry Me

Directed by Kat Coiro, this Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson starrer is all set to release on 11th February. Fans are excited to see JLo finally returning to Rom-Coms with this story about a pop star who marries a stranger in one of her crowds after learning that her partner has been having an affair. Originally, the film was slated to be released in 2021 but was held back from release due to some unknown reasons.

4. Death on the Nile

Kenneth Branagh, the director of the film has returned as detective Hercule Poirot post the success of his 2017 “Murder on the orient express”. Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, etc have teamed up for this suspense thriller as a couple’s honeymoon is tragically cut short for the search of a terrifying murderer. Formerly the movie was about to be released in September 2021 but now is slated for February 2022.

5. Uncharted

Based on a popular video game series of the same name, which has been under the pipeline for more than a decade until June 2019, fans received some positive responses from the makers. Tom Holland and Nathan Drake are confirmed to star in the film as the central heroes as the film officially started with its production work in the early months of 2020. The plot roughly follows the life of a treasure hunter who sets off to uncover the truths behind the lost cities and mythical treasures.

6. The Batman

This classic caped crusader is back again with its new iteration all set to hit theatres in April 2022. “The Planet Of The Apes” director Matt Reeves has planned on taking an even darker turn to the batman series than what we’ve already seen so far with this one. The cast includes Robert Pattinson of the Twilight Fame as Bruce Wayne, Colin Farrell as the penguin, Paul Dano as the Riddler.
