Kangana Ranaut On Lata Mangeshkar’s Death: Never Met But….

After the demise of singer Lata Mangeshkar, actress Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram story and poured her heart out.

Nightingale of India– Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away this morning due to multiple organ failure after battling Covid and pneumonia for a month. In a career spanning seven decades, she lent her voice for over a thousand songs in 36 languages. Lata Mangeshkar’s death has left the entire nation in deep shock and a state of mourning.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram stories and paid a tribute to the late singer. She wrote, “What a loss!!! India’s most beautiful voice is gone!! There will never be another Lata Ji…”

Kangan wrote in another Insta story, “Never met her in my life yet today can’t hold back my tears…such is the essence of a true artist, they are a part of our bloodstream through their work.”

Kangana said, “Listening to Shri Ram Chandra kripalu bhaj mann..by Lata ji…truth is she will never die…Long live Lata Ji..Om Shanti.”

She added, “In our culture, there is an expression called yug yug jio…It means May you live on for many yugas to come…obviously mortal remains can’t live for many yugas…our culture is so wise and deeply intricate that we know human is not his or her mortal body …they are beyond the body. They are their karma…body goes but karma lives on…aur Lata ji ki kirti, unka yash, unki kala yugon yugon take jeeyegi…Om Shanti..”

Lata Mangeshkar’s funeral will be conducted at Shivaji Park at 6.30 pm today with full state honours. Amitabh Bachchan, Shraddha Kapoor, Javed Akhtar, Sachin Tendulkar, Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar, Javed Akhtar and many others have reached her residence to pay their tribute.
