Korean actor and singer, Lee Jihan, was among the 153 people who died in a crowd tragedy on Sunday in Itaewon, South Korea. He was too young to left the world. Lee Ji Han Cause of the Death
Itaewon is popularly known for its Halloween celebrations, attracting people from around the world. Just like every year, thousands of people assembled in the streets of Itaewon to celebrate Halloween festivities on Saturday. However, the crowd size became overwhelming, leading to panic and an eventual fatal crowd surge.
The death toll has continued to rise since the incident, with over 80 other people reported injured, and thousands of missing person reports filed in the days since the tragedy. According to CNN cited authorities, the casualties were mostly young, with victims in their teens and early 20s. Lee Ji Han was among the victims of the horrific crowd surge tragedy in Seoul.
Lee Ji Han Career
Lee Jihan rise to fame in the Korean entertainment industry after he participated in season 2 of the Korean singing competition Produce 101. The show features 101 contestants who are looking for a chance to join an 11-member K-pop group. At that time, Jihan was represented by Pan Entertainment as a K-pop trainee. He auditioned for the show with a cover of EXO’s Overdose and was also part of a group performance which sang Infinite’s Be Mine. However, Jihan was eliminated in the fifth episode.
Following the show, Jihan left Pan and started working with Widmay Entertainment. In 2019, Lee Jihan turned his way to acting and landed his first role in the Korean drama series titled Today Was Another Nam Hyun Day.
Lee Ji Han Upcoming Projects
According to multiple reports, Lee Ji Han was filming the MBC’s upcoming fantasy romance drama series. He was cast as the ex-boyfriend of the female lead and he filmed his part last month. The reports also added that the drama series is set to premiere in January 2023.

Actor and singer Lee Ji Han was born on August 3, 1998, in South Korea. At the time of his passing, he had just turned 24 years old. Lee Ji Han’s was unmarried and other family details of him are unknown. However, according to Biographydaily, Lee Ji Han’s estimated net worth is in about $300 thousand USD.
The late Lee Jihan’s mortuary has been set up at the funeral hall of Myongji Hospital, and the funeral will be held on November 1st.
