The most anticipated movie Jurassic World: Dominion‘s first trailer is finally out! The latest trailer teases the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era. The threequel will hit theatres this June and takes place four years after the dramatic conclusion to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and dinosaurs now live and hunt alongside humans all over the world.
Meanwhile, it’s a fragile balance that will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings will remain the apex predators on a planet they now have to share with history’s most fearsome creatures. Jurassic World: Dominion brings back Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing and they’re joined by the OG trio of Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, and Sam Neill as Dr. Ian Malcolm, Dr. Ellie Sattler, and Dr. Alan Grant, respectively.
The first trailer is already packed with nods back to the original movies as Dern recreates Neill’s sunglasses off moment from the first film, while the trailer ends with an update of the ‘don’t move’ sequence. Meanwhile, the other familiar faces are also returning for this threequel that has been called as the finale to the entire Jurassic saga to date, not just the Jurassic World movies.
Jurassic World fans will also see BD Wong back as Dr. Henry Wu and Dr. Lewis Dodgson will also be seen for the first time since the original movie, but this time he will star as Campbell Scott and not Cameron Thor. Jurassic World: Dominion also brings back Justice Smith as Franklin Webb, Daniella Pineda as Dr. Zia Rodriguez, and Omar Sy as Barry Sembenè. Newcomers include DeWanda Wise, Mamoudou Athie, Dichen Lachman and Scott Haze.
Colin Trevorrow will return to direct the movie after JA Bayona directed the Fallen Kingdom, and Trevorrow penned the script with Emily Carmichael who also wrote the 2019 Jurassic World short film Battle at Big Rock. Jurassic World: Dominion will release in theaters on June 10.
