Estranged couple Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are again making headlines after the latter sued the singer for withholding the passport of their kids and for refusing their daughters’ return to England. Meanwhile, Joe Jonas has also broken his silence on the matter and shared his reaction to Sophie Turner’s allegations.
Joe Jonas Reacts To “Abduction” Allegations Made By Sophie Turner
As per a People report, the Florida court gave the order restricting both parents from relocating their children. However, the estranged couple, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner had a cordial meeting last Sunday in New York, and during the visit actress Sophie Turner came to the city to visit her kids. The statement claimed that Joe was under the impression that he and Sophia could work together for amicable co-parenting of their children.

However, just 24 hours after the co-parenting setup, Sophie Turner said that she wanted to take the children permanently to the UK, and she demanded the singer hand over the children’s passports so she could take them out of the country immediately. She filed the lawsuit to retrieve their daughter’s passport. The statement claimed that if Joe were to hand over the passports, he would be violating the direct court order of Florida.
The statement added that singer Joe Jonas is seeking shared parenting so that their kids will be raised by both their mother and father. Joe is comfortable with his daughter being raised in both the US and the UK. However, using words like “Abduction” was highly “misleading”. The singer asserted, that the kids weren’t “abducted” by him.

After 4 years of marriage singer Joe Jonas and actress Sophie Turner called it quits earlier this month. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner had a wedding in Las Vegas on May 1, 2019. The two share two daughters together, including Willa who was born in 2020, and another daughter born in 2022, whose name is still haven’t been made public.
