Jimmy Kimmel Warns NFL Star Aaron Rodgers Over ‘Epstein List’ Feud: ‘Your Reckless Words Put My Family In Danger’

The dispute began when Rodgers hinted on the Pat McAfee Show that Kimmel could be among those associated with Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 while facing sex trafficking charges.

Jimmy Kimmel criticized Aaron Rodgers for suggesting that Kimmel might be connected to Jeffrey Epstein, a notorious sex offender. Kimmel even threatened legal action against the NFL star for his comments.

The dispute began when Rodgers hinted on the Pat McAfee Show that Kimmel could be among those associated with Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 while facing sex trafficking charges.

Rodgers said, “There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, who are really hoping [the list] doesn’t come out. … I’ll tell you what, if that list comes out, I’ll definitely be popping some sort of bottle.”

Reports mention that the list contains around 200 names linked to Epstein, such as his associates, former employees, or passengers on his private jets. Although a New York judge has kept the list private, it might become public soon. These names have been referred to as John and Jane Does in court documents.

Jimmy Kimmel strongly reacted on his social media account, stating, “Dear Aa**hole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.”

It seems Rodgers’ comment was a response to a joke Kimmel made on his show last year. Kimmel mocked Rodgers for discussing the Epstein list and UFOs on the Pat McAfee Show, suggesting Rodgers was using it to divert attention from his poor performance on the field
