On the evening of New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles, actor Ian Ziering was reportedly involved in a confrontation with several bikers, an incident that was captured on video by TMZ. The footage shows the former ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star surrounded by a group of individuals riding mini-bikes along Hollywood Blvd.
In the video, Ziering, 59, is seen exiting his vehicle and engaging in a physical altercation with one of the bikers. As the scuffle intensified, more bikers joined, encircling the actor and reportedly attacking him. Attempting to evade the situation, Ziering was observed trying to cross the roadway, but he was pursued by the group. The clip suggests that Ziering was grabbed, pushed into another vehicle, and struck multiple times by members of the group.
Following the incident, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of a fight at Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave around 3 p.m. on Sunday. Law enforcement stated that the altercation originated after a group of bikers was driving recklessly.
The situation remains under investigation, pending further inquiries by authorities.
Ian Ziering addressed the troubling event in a video message shared on his Instagram account the following Monday. He recounted the unsettling confrontation, stating, ‘While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders, leading to an unsettling confrontation. In an attempt to assess any damage, I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself.’
Concluding his post, Ziering urged city officials and law enforcement to take decisive action against such incidents of lawlessness and provide necessary resources to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
