Here’s why Chris Hemsworth was ANGRY at his Avengers: Endgame co star Chris Evans

Chris Hemsworth at ACE Comic Con was asked about his reaction on the iconic moment in Avengers: Endgame where Captain America lifted the God of Thunder's hammer aka Mjolnir. Here's what he had to say.

The ACE Comic Con that took place in Rosemont, Illinois saw many big stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), and Jake Gyllenhaal (Mysterio) not only attended the event but were also seen clicking photos with fans and even participated in various panels.

During “A Conversation with Chris Hemsworth,” at the ACE Comic-Con, he spoke candidly about the epic scene in the last few minutes of the MCU film in Avengers: Endgame, where Captain America was worthy enough to pick up Thor’s beloved hammer, Mjolnir. Chris hilariously replied, “Uh, pretty angry, yeah. I’m sick of people picking up that hammer, to be honest. It’s playing with my toys, you know, it’s like ‘give me that.'”

Chris’ reaction was in contrast to his character as Thor, who was seen very ecstatic on knowing his friend from work was as worthy as him. The moderator even revealed how his performance during that sequence was amazing and how it seemed like he didn’t mind at all. Chris joked back, “Yeah, thank you. I minded. Give it back, Cap. Have your little shield. I haven’t seen him pick up Stormbreaker yet, though.” The audience quickly corrected him, and he replied, “Did he? See, I did this when that happened,” he joked as he covered his eyes.

The fact he said is “sick of people picking up that hammer” gives fans hope that they may see Jane (Natalie Portman) wield Mjolnir when she takes on the Thor mantle in Thor: Love and Thunder. This will also be the first time a Marvel Cinematic Universe hero will get the fourth instalment of their franchise. The movie will also see the return of Taika Waititi after his success directing Thor: Ragnarok. Apart from Chris and Natalie, the film will also see Tessa Thompson as King Valkyrie who will Tessa Thompson as King Valkyrie.
