There are many social media discussions happening about the development of Thor 5, yet there is no official news that has come out from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Well, if that happens for sure, then Chris Hemsworth will again grab the role of Thor for the fifth installment. Chris has led 4 films in the Thor franchise, but this actor once felt sudden concern about his character in the MCU, he thought that he may get fired out of the MCU. “Thor” 2011 was the first big venture of Chris where Natalie Portman was opposite him, and she had already made her place in Hollywood by then.
In the Marvel Universe, Chris deftly portrayed God of Thunder and fans were impressed with his overall on-screen presence. Rather, there is a huge Thor fan club and, despite that, Chris was dread about his role when he first played it. He talked about it with Australia TODAY, saying, “It was a lot of nostalgia in (Thor: Love and Thunder) for me, as it was with the last Avengers film. Ten, eleven years I’ve been doing it. The first time I played Thor was opposite Natalie Portman, and it was one of my first jobs, and I kept thinking I was going to get fired, or nothing was gonna work, or fans weren’t going to accept my version of the character.”
The reason behind his apprehensiveness might be Natalie, as she was an accomplished actress in Hollywood, mentioned above. She played Jane Foster, Thor’s love interest in the Thor franchise. She appeared in the first two parts and then returned in “Thor: Love & Thunder”.
After the four installments “Thor” (2011), “Thor: Dark World” (2013), “Thor: Ragnarok” (2017) and “Thor: Love & Thunder” (2022), fans are awaiting solid news about the 5th installment of the Thor franchise.
