Fans of Friends will now have to wait for a little longer to see the special reunion episode on it as shooting has been postponed until May due to the coronavirus pandemic outbreak.

Friends followers will now have to wait for a tad longer to see the special reunion episode on it as shooting for the sitcom was put on hold until May due to the coronavirus pandemic outbreak, Deadline reports.

Owing to the intensity of the health crisis that has disrupted all production projects in Hollywood and other movies industries, shooting for the reunion episode expected to be telecast on HBO Max was postponed.

This comes just a month after the official news of the famous TV show’s cast reuniting after 16 years for the filming of a special episode of an unscripted cast reunion. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc stars in the popular series of the ’90s.

The show is helmed by Ben Winston who, together with David Crane, Kevin Bright and Marta Kauffman is also the executive producer.
