Zareen Khan Says Working With Salman Khan Was ‘Intimadating,’ She Was Constantly Compared With Katrina

Zareen Khan revealed his experience working with Salman and also expressed that her image as a clone of Katrina had an adverse effect on her.

Zareen Khan is a well-known actress and model who primarily works in the Bollywood film industry. Zareen made her Bollywood debut with the film “Veer” in 2010, alongside Salman Khan. Though the film did not perform well at the box office, she garnered attention for her striking resemblance to actress Katrina Kaif. After her debut, Zareen Khan appeared in various films, including “Ready,” “Housefull 2,” “Hate Story 3,” and others. While some of her movies were commercially successful, she faced mixed reviews from critics. In a recent interaction with fans, she revealed her experience working with Salman and also expressed that her image as a clone of Katrina had an adverse effect on her.

While interacting with her fans on Reddit, one fan asked if being compared with Katrina Kaif had an impact on her career. To which she replied, “So when I entered this industry , I was literally like a lost child since I don’t come from a filmy background so it made me feel really happy being compared to Katrina as I was her fan too and found her really pretty. But it backfired on my career as the people of this industry din’t give me a chance to prove my individuality.”

When asked about her honest experience working with Salman Khan on her debut film, Zareen didn’t hesitate to share her honest thoughts. She admitted that it was quite intimidating. 

One fan asked her about how challenging it was for her to do Hate Story 3?

She answered, “Very ! bcoz I never in my life thought I’d do something like this … but there was a time in life when there wasn’t any work coming in and I had to take care of my family …. so I did the film. I have no regrets now …. bcoz when I see what’s happening in films and OTT now … it is much more .”
