Amit Sadh, who worked with Salman Khan in the film ‘Sultan,’ shared an emotional moment when Salman Khan informed him about a surprise. The actor, who typically adheres to an early bedtime and retires by sunset, made an exception to attend Salman’s Eid party. He had previously promised Salman during the ‘Sultan’ shoot that he would hang out with him once the movie became a massive hit.

Amit recently appeared on the Pop Talks podcast and revealed some intriguing details from the party, considering that ‘Sultan’ had been a significant success at the box office. He reminisced, ‘At 12, I went to Bhai and said, “Thank you so much.” Everybody was in high spirits as it was one of Salman’s most significant films. He was very gracious, introducing me to everyone, saying, “Meet Amit, he’s the hero of the film.” He added, “Wait, I have a gift for you, but I’ll give it to you in an hour.”‘

One hour turned into two, and two into three. Amit passed the time by mingling with other guests he knew. However, after that, he approached Salman, trying to excuse himself by citing an early shoot the next day. ‘In short, he didn’t release me until 4:30 in the morning. Bhai’s energy at 4:30, whether AM or PM, was at full throttle. I was dressed in a sherwani, and he handed me his bicycle. He knew I liked riding and said, “This is yours.” Then we both became emotional and continued talking until 5-5:30 AM. I left Galaxy on that bicycle, still in my sherwani.’

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Sultan’ also featured Anushka Sharma and Randeep Hooda. It emerged as one of the biggest Bollywood hits of all time, grossing over Rs 600 crore worldwide.
