In a recent interview, Bollywood Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt opened up about his past romantic relationships with actresses Ameesha Patel and Sushmita Sen. During his interview the filmmaker revealed that he doesn’t regret his previous relationships.
For the unversed, Vikram Bhatt was said to be in a relationship with Bollywood actresses Ameesha Patel and Sushmita Sen back in the 2000s. It was also speculated that his relationship with actress Sushmita Sen was the reason behind his divorce from his wife Aditi.
Vikram Bhatt Talks About His Relationship With Sushmita And Ameesha
Talking about his past relationships Vikram Bhatt told Siddharth Kanan that he doesn’t regret his relationship with actress Sushmita Sen and Ameesha Patel. “I don’t regret anything in my life, not one thing, not one mistake. I have made mistakes, a lot of mistakes, but I have learned from them. Maybe there’s a lot more learning left to do, but this is my sole journey.”
Vikram Bhatt revealed that he had made phone calls to both, Sushmita Sen and Ameesha Patel to apologize to them. He further mentioned that his relationships with the two actresses were mentioned and discussed in the media, however, they were not the only relationships he had.
Film Anakhee Was Based On Vikram Bhatt’s Life
Vikram Bhatt further revealed that his 2006 film, Ankahee was somewhat based on his own life and was a “semi-fictionalized” version of his relationship with Sushmita Sen while he was married to his childhood sweetheart Aditi.
When asked if his wife, Aditi was not upset with him for making the film Ankahee, Bhatt said, “If I have blamed anyone then it was me, I neither blamed Sushmita’s character, nor my ex-wife. Then why would anyone be upset? I have the right to beat myself up.”
