The TV / Films and OTT Czarina Ekta Kapoor is in the process of creating and coming up with a brand new webseries titled Helllo Jee for her streaming platform Alt Balaji wherein this series is going to be about a phone dating operator and if everything falls favorably in place then the voice who will be making the noise in the entire story being narrated is going to be of Vidya Balan.
A source closely involved in the development of the show in recent interview byte with leading digital entertainment portal was quoted telling, “Vidya Balan has been approached to do the part and the actress has also shown interest. However, she hasn’t signed the dotted lines yet”.
The series primarily revolves around a phone dating operator who is running away from her past life wherein she ends up setting free and liberating a group of struggling women in a small and quaint township.
The makers are all ready and set with the series teaser wherein they will be giving its exclusive glimpse to the audiences soon.
Vidya shares a really long association and strong bonding with TV czarina Ekta Kapoor. She made her TV debut with Ekta Kapoor’s hit sitcom Hum Paanch (1995) and did her big Bollywood debut with Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Parineeta (2005). Vidya is the only B town actress who hasn’t made her digital debut yet. Even though her last film Shakuntala Devi was released on OTT streaming platform due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
