Varun Dhawan too joined hands with Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films for a horror comedy universe. He is currently shooting for his upcoming horror comedy flick Bhediya alongside Kriti Sanon. These days actors are evolving with the trend and time, stepping into the OTT world after having built a great career in the film industry. Very few want to stick to the big screen well others are exploring various paths. Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan revealed actors he wishes should make their OTT debut and who should not.

In a recent interview, Varun Dhawan shared his thoughts on OTT. While many film celebrities are signing web series, the Coolie No. 1 actor mentioned names that should stay away from OTT and who should enter the digital space. He nominated Sidharth Malhotra and Shahid Kapoor who should make their OTT debut and Salman Khan should not take up any web project.

In conversation with Pinkvilla, VD said, “I think two stars, who should make their OTT debut are… Sidharth Malhotra, I always felt should, and he has a massive show with Rohit Shetty sir, and Shahid Kapoor. Again, these are two people, who are already on the platform, and they announced it… So, I’d say Mr Amitabh Bachchan, because he is such a brilliant actor. He can do anything, elevate anything. He’ll be phenomenal in a limited series or a film. I would just subscribe then and there.”

He further added, “Salman Khan sir should not. I don’t want to see Salman bhai on OTT. I am happy jab mein Eid pe unko dekhta hoon (I am happy to watch him on the screen on Eid), on the big holidays. Actually, he’s the only one I don’t want to see on OTT.”

On the work front, after the massive success of Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Varun Dhawan has a good lineup of forthcoming projects. Varun Dhawan will be seen in Bhediya alongside Kriti Sanon. He will feature in Bawaal with Janhvi Kapoor. He is also a part of Shashank Khaitan’s Ranbhoomi, which is said to be shelved.
