Tiger Shroff is gearing up for the release of Heropanti 2. The upcoming action romantic film is a sequel to his debut film ‘Heropanti’ which was released in 2014. Heropanti 2 will hit the theatres on Eid (April 29) and is clashing with Ajay Devgn’s film ‘Runway 34’.
During a press conference, Tiger Shroff was asked to comment on the clash between Heropanti and Runway 34. The actor said, “I can’t compare myself to such major superstars like Ajay Devgn Sir and Amitabh Bachchan Sir. I am nothing in front of them and I have way too much respect for them to even be spoken about in the same breath as them.”
Appreciating Ajay Devgn’s film, Tiger said, “Runway 34 is looking fantastic. I myself am looking forward to watching that film. I am also looking forward to watching Heropanti 2. I think all films can flourish together. And with a date like Eid, there’s so much space and time for everyone. Watch Runway 34 on Eid and Heropanti 2 on Basi Eid. It is as simple as that. You don’t have to clash or anything. We can all flourish together.”
Heropanti 2 features Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It is directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. On the other hand, Runway 34 is directed and produced by Ajay Devgn. The film features himself, alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh.
