Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu recently took her fans by surprise after it was revealed that the actress had tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Mathias Boe in an intimate wedding ceremony. Soon after the news came out several pictures and videos from her wedding were leaked online and went viral soon after.
Now in her first interview after her wedding, Taapsee confirmed that she is indeed married. The actress also revealed that she kept her marriage a “secret” since she did not want to share her wedding pics on social media with fans.

In a conversation with HindustanTimes, Taapsee revealed, “I’m not sure if I want to open my personal life to the kind of scrutiny that happens. I’ve signed up for this, not my partner or the people who were at the wedding. That’s why I’ve kept it to myself.”.
She added, “The intention was never to keep it a secret; I just didn’t want to make it a public affair, because then I’ll start getting worried about how it is perceived. That’s why I have no plans for a release of any kind and don’t think I’m mentally prepared for that right now. I knew people who were there, they wanted to be there for me and were not present to judge, that’s why I was pretty relaxed”.
For the unversed, Taapsee and Mathias initially crossed paths in 2013 at the inauguration ceremony of the Indian Badminton League, sparking a friendship that gradually evolved into a romantic relationship. Despite their hectic schedules, the couple successfully nurtured their bond away from the public eye, leading to their lovely wedding ceremony this year.
