After appearing in the hit series Aarya, Bollywood actress, and Miss Universe, Sushmita Sen is all set to come back with her upcoming film, Taali. As per the reports, the film is a biopic which is based on the life of transwoman Gauri Sawant. Sushmita Sen To Play Transwoman In Taali
On Thursday, Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen shared her first look as a transwoman in her upcoming film, Taali. Sharing the picture she wrote, “Taali – Bajaungi nahi, bajwaungi. First look as Shreegauri Sawant. Nothing makes me prouder and more grateful than to have the privilege of portraying this beautiful person and of bringing her story to the world. Here’s to life and to everyone’s right to live it with dignity! I love you guys!”
Reacting to her look Sushmita’s daughter Renee Sen commented, “Maa (red heart icons), so so so proud of you. Dugga Dugga. I love you the mostest.” Sushmita’s sister-in-law Charu Asopa wrote, “Wowww… The first look is awesome…So proud of you, didi. Looking forward… love you, Didi.”
While her fans also shared their reactions, a user commented, “ou are such a lovely and talented actor loved your series #arya and now looking forward for #shreegaurisawant Jai Shakti”, another user wrote, “It’s an absolute honour for all of us thank you for your warmth, support and belief!! “
Ankur Bhatia To Collaborate With Sushmita Sen For Taali
While as per a News18 report, it is now believed that Ankur Bhatia who appeared alongside the actress in her web series Aarya will also be seen in her upcoming film Taali. A source told the portal, “Taali marks Sen and Bhatia’s second collaboration. They share a great rapport off-screen too and they are elated to be working together. The dynamic they share in the web series will be completely different to that of Aarya.”
