Sunny Deol To Play Hanuman In Ranbir Kapoor Starrer “Ramayana”?

Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film, Ramayana has been grabbing the headlines lately. While Ranbir Kapoor is expected to play lord “Ram” with actress Sai Pallavi as “Sita” in the movie it is now being speculated that Gadar 2 actor Sunny Deol will be seen essaying the role of “Hanuman” in the film.

Sunny Deol To Play Hanuman In Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana?

A source close to the development revealed to Pinkvilla that Gadar 2 actor Sunny Deol is in talks with the makers of Ramayana to essay the role of Hanuman in the film. The source stated that Sunny Deol is one of the best choices to play the role of Hanuman in the film. The source also revealed that the actor has also shown interest in being a part of Nitesh Tiwari’s film, Ramayana and is excited to essay the role of Hanuman, however all of this is yet to be “finalized”.

Meanwhile, apart from Sunny Deol, Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial, Ramayana will reportedly feature actor Ranbir Kapoor as lord “Ram” alongside South actress Sai Pallavi as “Sita” and KGF actor Yash as “Ravan” in the film.

Ranbir Kapoor To Quit Drinking For His Role As Ram

It was recently reported that to play the role of Ram actor Ranbir Kapoor will quit consuming alcohol and meat. As per a KoiMoi report, the makers have put the cast of the film, Ramayana under a “self-restrained lifestyle” to avoid any controversies that can affect the film.

Earlier it was reported that the shooting of the film, Ramayana will begin in February 2024. A source previously revealed to Pinkvilla that the first part of the trilogy will focus on Lord Ram and Sita played by Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi. The first part will feature the Sita Haran and the shooting will commence from February till August 2024.
