SRK’s DDLJ & KKHH Best Musical Films In India, Musician Lalit Shared Memories Of Both Movies

Lata Mangeshkar along with Anand Bakshi made a great contribution to the film DDLJ. The whole team is on one side and Lata Didi's contribution on another side. Lata Didi brought a professional touch to the entire soundtrack of the movie.

A superstar who has a very special place in our hearts, SRK celebrated his 58th birthday yesterday with fans as well as his celebrity friends in the industry. SRK has given so many blockbusters and he is still surprising us with his new movies. But Shah Rukh’s two most amazing movies of all time, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ (DDLJ) & ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hain’ can’t be replaced by any other movies. Not just millennials but even gen z people love these two outstanding creations. The story, the characters and most importantly the music. These two movies have been certified by the BBC as the best musical films in India, DDLJ at first place and KKHH at second.

For both the films, music was composed by the popular duo Jatin-Lalit. Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosale, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, these veterans gave their beautiful voices in both the films. In an interview, musician Lalit said, “The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) conducted a survey in which they asked about the best musical films of India from a total of 40 selected films. In that survey, DDLJ & KKHH were certified as the best musical films in India. But personally, I like the music in DDLJ the most. And the difference that makes it stand out is all the songs from DDLJ were sung by Lata Mangeshkar.”

Adding more to it, he said, “Still she can’t be compared with anyone. Lata Mangeshkar along with Anand Bakshi made a great contribution to the film DDLJ. The whole team is on one side and Lata Didi’s contribution on another side. Lata Didi brought a professional touch to the entire soundtrack of the movie. ” Anand Bakshi guided Lalit in the making of music with his experience. Anand Bakshi had already predicted that DDLJ would be a forever hit and so it is. Lalit made an Instagram Live on the Silver Jubilee of DDLJ with Lata Didi and team. 

DDLJ has a total of seven songs and people still listen to them by giving all their heart. ‘Tujhe Dekha To’, ‘Mere Khwabon Mein’, ‘Ho Gaya Hain Tujhako Pyaar’ etc. all these songs have a special feeling connected to it. KKHH celebrated Silver Jubilee this year. ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, ‘Ye Ladka Hai Diwana’, these songs from KKHH are still played by gen z. Gen z people listen to these songs on a loop. No doubt Shah Rukh Khan has taught us how to love through his movies and Jatin-Lalit, along with Lata Didi, has given all-time hit songs for these amazing creations.
