A singer and composer, Sonu Nigam is one of the most well-known personalities in Bollywood. He is doing everything in his power to please his admirers after decades of captivating audiences with his wonderful voice. He was assaulted while performing in Chembur, Bombay, in a recent incident, leaving him emotionally wounded. Sonu’s brother was harmed during the altercation and is currently being treated in a hospital, in addition to his team of bodyguards being mistreated.
According to reports, Sonu was about to leave the stage when the MLA’s son, Prakash Phaterpekar, attacked him along with his security. Reports stated, the son reportedly wanted to take a photo with the well-known music composer along with his security. The singer was guarded and stayed unharmed, but his brother was injured and sent to the hospital.
A video is currently going viral on social media, and the nasty behaviour of the MLA’s son has left netizens furious. Reacting to this incident, one user wrote, “This is not only a violation of Sonu’s rights but an attack on basic human decency.” “These perpetrators must be brought to justice.” Another user wrote, “This man @UdhavThackeray must be arrested for letting loose his goons.” So Shiv Sena has made it clear that they are no longer as pro-Hindu as they pretended to be so far, right? Nice! Atleast the public will have the clarity now.” One More user wrote, “Sameet, I’m no big fan of Mr. Uddhav or his MLA, Prakash Phaterpekar. This event was organised by him, and the person in the green t-shirt is the MLA’s son who was pushed off the stairs. It’s some other random person who has attacked, and I think that’s where the news should be.”
According to the reports, many eyewitnesses reportedly stated that Sonu Nigam’s bodyguard placed himself between the attacker and the singer; as a result, the singer received a push and went down the stairs. Fortunately, Sonu wasn’t hurt, but the two men who attempted to save him may have.
