Shruti Haasan Joins Cast Of “Lust Stories” Telugu Remake

Post the unlock phase IV that has happened on a national level in India, this is surely a relieving news that the film production houses and actors have started shooting for their respective forthcoming movie projects but are also following strict rules and regulations of social distancing and protocols related to sanitization and wearing masks.

Singer and South films actor Shruti Haasan is all set and ready to make a comeback on the silver screens.

According to a leading news publication report, Shruti will be seen portraying and reprising the role that had been played by Bollywood actor Kiara Advani in the original Netflix commercially successful and critically acclaimed “Lust Stories” (2018) film.

Apparently the makers of “Lust Stories” have now made up their mind and decided to release a Telugu version of it and shooting of the film also has started by now and is underway.

According to a leading Indian media news report, Shruti Haasan is in running for the role of Kiara Advani in “Lust Stories” official Telugu remake. The news reports also mentioned the fact that the shooting for this segment of the movie is complete and Shruti’s performance in the movie has impressed everyone on the sets and left a permanent mark in their hearts.

Originally actor Kiara Advani in Lust Stories plays the role of a young wife who has an arranged marriage with a man. Where even though she finds her husband to be very endearing and charming, deep down she is left unsatisfied and disappointed when it comes to the physical intimacy factor in their marriage.

When she tries to take care of her situation all by herself without really letting anyone know about it, the situation turns rather very comical, humorous and embarrassing for the entire family. Vicky Kaushal had essayed the role of her husband in the movie, and both the actors were highly praised for their bold performance in Lust Stories. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, actor Shruti Haasan was last seen in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Yaara which released earlier in 2020. This movie had been delayed by several years, but finally got its digital premiere on Zee5.

Also, before this movie, she was seen in Behen Hogi Teri in 2017 which was her last big release in Bollywood.

However, now the stunning and versatile actor has a lot of South movies in her kitty. The list of which includes Putham Pudhu Kaalai, Sabaash Naidu, Laabam, Krack and Rashna: The Ray of Light.
