The sudden death of Lockupp contestant Poonam Pandey took the internet by shock. Taking to her Instagram account, Poonam’s team announced her death issuing an official statement. The shocking and unfortunate news initially left the netizens in doubt and confusion as to whether it was only a publicity stunt, however, her publicist confirmed the model’s death leaving everyone shocked.
Sharing an official statement on her Instagram, her team wrote that the actress and model died due to “cervical cancer”. The statement read, “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.”
However, as per the latest reports some shocking revelations were made regarding Poonam Pandey’s death claiming that the actress died not due to cervical cancer but, “Drug Overdose”. A source revealed to Times Now that Poonam Pandey died of a drug overdose and not cervical cancer. However, there’s no official confirmation about the same.
On the other hand, few reports previously revealed that Poonam Pandey was admitted to a hospital in Pune, and after her demise, her mortal remains were taken to her hometown in Uttar Pradesh.
