Nikamma Trailer Launch: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty recently talked about her role as Avni in the upcoming film ‘Nikamma’ during its trailer launch. She recently took her new superwoman Avtar on Instagram. While being asked about her most desired superpower the actress mentioned that her superpower is being a mother.
During the trailer launch of the film, the actress was asked about her most desired superpower that she would wish for if she gets a chance. In response to the question, the actress said, “Look, in our country, if you see the image of Devi maa has 10 hands while God Vishnu, who is said to be the most powerful among all has only 4 hands, so I feel every woman is a superwoman and many of them don’t wear their capes. So what you saw of me, I am not playing a superwoman but I am playing a very powerful woman and that cape is just a figment of his imagination… but if there was any, being a mother is really a very powerful role to play and that is my superpower and I don’t need just to be able to be a woman and play so many different roles is very empowering so what could I what more could I want as a superpower”.
The actress also talked about the tough time she faced after the Raj Kundra controversy, as she called it ‘a rough patch of her life’. Nikamma is an upcoming Bollywood action comedy film starring Shilpa Shetty, Abhimanyu Dassani, and Shirley Setia. It is directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Shabbir Khan Films and Sony Pictures India.
