During the trailer launch of the film ‘Nikamma’, actress Shilpa Shetty talked about her upcoming film and spoke about the delay caused by the pandemic. She also mentioned why South Movies are succeeding today.

During the trailer launch of the film, Nikamma, Shilpa Shetty was been asked about how she handles ‘Nikamma’ people in her life. To this, she said, ‘Thankfully there’s no such person in my life so I think you have to live in the moment, and you should react to what feels right in that moment, and whatever happens at that moment happens for a reason even if its bad. When we announced the picture our dates for it clashed and then COVID happened and during COVID we started working on the film and then a few times sony pictures and Sabbir sir decided on a release date for the film but then the theatres got closed again, so I think that right now when I am watching this trailer with all of you there couldn’t have been better timing for the release of our film and right now as you see that the South films are trending in our industry is because of their content and entertainment, and all of these elements are there in our film so there cannot be a better time for Nikamma to be released, for audiences to come into the theatre and see that even Hindi cinema can produce this kind of content”.

Nikamma is an upcoming Bollywood action comedy film starring Shilpa Shetty, Abhimanyu Dassani, and Shirley Setia. It is directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Shabbir Khan Films and Sony Pictures India.
