At the age of 56, actor Shahnawaz Pradhan of well-known TV and motion picture series died on Friday in Mumbai after a heart attack. He complained of chest trouble while at an event with other actors and business professionals and was sent to Kokila Ben Hospital. The actor is well-known for his roles as Hafiz Saeed in Phantom and as Sindbad the Sailor in the television series Alif Laila. He has most recently been in web series like Hostages and Mirzapur in addition to movies and TV shows. In Mirzapur, he played the father of Golu and Sweety Gupta.
Pradhan was subsequently sent to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, which is the facility’s closest hospital, according to a post by Sharma. When the doctors arrived, they were unable to revive him.
Shahnawaz Pradhan collaborated with Guddu, Bablu Pandit, and Rajesh Tailang, who portrayed an advocate, in the web series Mirzapur. He posted a heartfelt message for his co-star on Instagram. He posted a photo of the series’ actor and captioned it, “Shahnawaz bhai aakhiri salaam!!! Insaan kya gazab ke zaheen aur kitne behatar the aap. Yaqeen nahin ho raha, Mirzapur ke dauran kitna sundar waqt guzara aapke saath.
Actor Yashpal Sharma also took to his Instagram to share the sad news with his followers. He wrote, Attended this program in Mumbai today… Everything was going very well… Rizz Dime Darrell ji and hundreds of other artists were present but in the middle, shortly after receiving the award, our favorite artist Shahnawaz had some attack… The whole program stopped everyone. And with the help of the doctor, he was quickly picked up and taken to Kokila Ben Hospital, which was the nearest one, but no one could save him, he left…. This is the bitter truth of our life…. In what pride does man live and what is life…….
He further wrote, Well the program ended well but a life was lost…..so many artistes were gathered at one place and a life was lost before our eyes…. Something seems a bit off…. Salute to Rita, so many people met at one place but one person has gone, this sorrow will continue throughout life…. God rest his soul in peace and give courage to the family…….
