Recently, it was revealed by makers that Vidya Balan, the OG Majulika, will be making a comeback in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Actor Kartik Aaryan shared the exciting news on his social media platforms, confirming Vidya Balan’s involvement in the upcoming installment of the franchise, slated for release this Diwali. Subsequently, many reports surfaced claiming that Kartik Aaryan’s ex-girlfriend, Sara Ali Khan will be seen playing the female lead in the film.
Sara Ali Khan To Star Alongside Kartik Aaryan In Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3?
A source close to the development revealed to Mid-Day that the makers are keen on casting Sara Ali Khan opposite Kartik Aaryan in the 3rd installment of the franchise. However, none of it is confirmed yet. The source added, “The discussions are at a nascent stage. Nothing is confirmed yet.”
Meanwhile, apart from Sara Ali Khan, the source confirmed to the portal that Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit will also be a part of the franchise and will be seen playing the role of a “ghost” in the film. “The team felt another spirit would add to the narrative. So, it will be Rooh Baba versus the two ghosts played by Madhuri and Vidya. By bringing the two leading ladies together for the first time on screen, the makers have played a trump card.”
No Akshay Kumar In Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3
On the other hand, many fans recently expressed their desire to see OG actor Akshay Kumar in the sequel. However, in a recent interview, Anees Bazmee revealed that the actor will “not” be a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. He told Zoom, “No, Akshay is not a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. I am dying to work with him, but unfortunately, I have not been able to script a film where we could work together. In the future, certainly yes.”
