Salman Khan’s Aarti At Arpita Khan’s Ganpati Celebration Sparks Controversy, Netizens Say ‘Kis Maqsad Se Khud Ko Musalman Kehte Ho’

Salman Khan, Who Paid A Visit To Arpita's House On Tuesday, Shared A Video On His Social Media Handle

The festive spirit was in full swing as the Khan family came together to welcome Lord Ganesha at the residence of Salman Khan’s sister, Arpita Khan, and her husband, Aayush Sharma. Like every year, the entire Khan parivar gathered to celebrate the occasion.

Salman Khan, who paid a visit to Arpita’s house on Tuesday, shared a video on his social media handle, depicting him performing the aarti. He chanted the sacred words, “Ganpati Bappa Morya,” in the video post.

However, shortly after Salman posted the video, it went viral and drew criticism from some orthodox social media users who questioned the actor’s participation in the celebration.

One user wrote, “1 aurat k wajah se pure khandan Iman se bhatak gye… Allah maf karen aur hidayat den inhe..”.

Another expressed concern about the impact on Islam’s reputation, saying, “Ya maula hum kis maqsad se khudd ko muslman khty h… Puri gunah horhi h aur… Islam ka izzat kya reh ja rha… ya Allah paak hidayat de astagfirullah”.

A third user called for respect for all religions while admonishing those who criticize, and a fourth user urged fellow Muslims to refrain from supporting such actions, labelling those involved as worse than non-believers.

“bhaijaan sabhi religion ki respect karo ussey kisi koi problem nahi hum b karte hai aur Allah ne b yahi kaha hai kisi ko b bura nahi bolo surah kafiroon agar padhi ho toh thik nahi toh padhlo aur uska matlab b jaanlo ,this is kufr aur kufr ki maafi nahi hai Allah k yaha , bahot taras ata hai jab tumko ye sab karte dekhta hu toh 😢, Allah hi hidayat de tumhare jaise logo ko aameen ya rab”.

On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for his highly-anticipated release, “Tiger 3,” alongside Katrina Kaif, scheduled to hit theaters in November this year.
