It’s been a while since Salman Khan announced a new movie. For the past two years, the superstar has been busy working on his Eid 2023 and Diwali 2023 releases Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3. But that’s not all, Salman Khan has been inundated with offers from filmmakers and seems to have returned to its original roots. Pinkvilla exclusively revealed that Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya will be reunited for the fifth time in their upcoming epic family drama tentatively titled Prem Ki Shaadi.
Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya have been discussing Prem Ki Shaadi for some time now and the film is now in the phase of family drama this year. Salman and Sooraj want to find Prem Ki Shaadi from November/December 2023. With the film, Sooraj plans to celebrate love in the context of nuclear families, and it’s one of the most specific themes he’s developed to date,” he revealed. (Pinkvilla)

Prem Ki Shaadi is aiming for a Diwali 2024 release in cinemas around the world and will soon enter the casting phase. “Sooraj Barjatya will begin casting the female lead and key cast of Prem Ki Shaadi in a few months. While his films have always had romantic cues that lead to Shaadi, this time the whole conflict revolves around the life of a married couple with strong family elements,” the source added.
While his project for Diwali 2024 at the moment is Prem Ki Shaadi, there are a dozen scripts he is considering for Eid 2024. “Mythri, Dharma Productions, Dil Raju, and Aamir Khan Productions, offered Salman a film. Sajid Nadiadwala has the potential to become his shoot for Eid 2024. He is speaking to all interested parties and is developing some in-house films under his Salman Khan Films banner.

Apart from the two projects mentioned above, Salman is involved in the production of India’s top action film Tiger v/s Pathaan for Yash Raj Films, in which he faces Shah Rukh Khan. The project is expected to launch in the second half of 2024 for a major launch in 2025.
